Are you in the mood for a classic breakfast that will delight your sweet tooth, satisfy your hunger, and start your morning off in the best way possible? Hey -- look no further. My Whole Wheat Pancakes are the exact thing you need. This delicious and simple recipe will easily get the whole family out of bed, and at the dining room table in a hot second. As always, remember to serve it with your choice of syrup, honey, whipped cream, chopped fruit, or just straight up plain! Bacon and eggs also advised!

Ingredients
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 cup milk, dairy or non-dairy
- 2 eggs
- 1/3 cup coconut sugar
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp nutmeg
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk eggs and pour in the milk. Slowly add the rest of the ingredients and whisk thoroughly until batter is smooth
- Heat up a skillet or pan on medium heat. With a little bit of olive oil or cooking spray scoop approximately a quarter cup of batter onto the pan.
- Cook until the edges are firm, then flip the pancake and cook until browned on the other side. Repeat with remaining batter.
- Serve with honey, syrup and/or fruit, as desired. Enjoy!
