This is the world's best granola. Tested and tried over 5 years, loved by toddlers and even grandparents! It's not overly sweet, super crunchy and fragrant. It's perfect for a quick breakfast or a light snack anytime. You won't be able to resist it, I promise!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup puffed brown rice
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin seeds
  • 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1/4 cup flax seed meal
  • 1/2 cup sliced almonds
  • 1/4 cup date syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 2 tbsp honey, optional
  • 1/4 cup raisins, optional

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 315F
  2. Mix all the ingredients into a large bowl, except the optional honey included here for the very sweet tooth :D
  3. Line a flat baking tray with parchment paper and spread mixture over it evenly. Bake in oven for 12 minutes
  4. Remove promptly from oven and allow to cool for at least 10 minutes. The cooling will allow the granola to dry out and get crispy.
  5. After cooling, break the granola into large chunks. Enjoy as is or serve with some yogurt, chocolate chips and berries!
